Here I have hardened the polymer clay, finished it with bronze coating, patina'ed it, and put a lacquer finish on it. Now I just need to mount it and take professional photos. Here is an alternate view:
Here is the series of photos that demonstrate the process: ddorrity.deviantart.com/galler…
This is for a sculpture based on Zienna Eve, a model from Bornholm, Denmark.
Edit: Thank you for the Daily Deviation!

I love it man. Looks great
Beautiful sir. Absolutely stunning. Reminds me of what I like about Jacob Epstein, but gentler and more fluid. It's a must-fave.
Lovely, especially her expression <3
It would have been cool if roots where growing and spreading from the base and on to the ground. Like it was trying to grab hold onto the base.
Thank you! Having a gorgeous model helped a ton though. Zienna Eve is a very inspiring model.
Congrats on the DD!
This is so beautiful
This is so beautiful! It's really hard to believe it's not metal, but sculpted with polymer clay. So cool - what a great piece.
Congratulations on the Daily Deviation!
Thank you. You are quite the colorist! Great work!
I wish could just hug you. This is amazing! Truly amazing. Thank you for making such beauty.
Oh the beauty part is due to the model.
I'll consider myself hugged! Thank you for that!
Very skilled, I enjoyed looking through your gallery.
You are a very skilled sculpture! I hope you go far with your art! Congrats on the DD!
Y-you did this?
With your hands?
