I finally stripped the remainder of the clay off of Queen of the Seas.  So this is what 6' tall octopus women look like after they have been cast.  The glory of Cecaelia is fleeting.  The brown bits are a type of epoxy based clay that helped stiffen up the armature.  I had to bust it off with a hammer.  The rest is a styrofoam ball and aluminum armature wire.


